August 24 – October 1
(Everything after October 1 will be deferred to the Spring semester)

 

Current RSOs:

  1. Update OrgSync portal (Constitutions must be included)
    *If you need to update the Administrators for your portal, please submit a request here: https://orgsync.com/31068/forms/208374
    *The Office of Student Engagement will notify you when the submission has been completed.
  2. Schedule and meet with a Student Leadership Consultant.
    *Appointments can be made by calling 256-765-4248 or contacting a SLC here: http://una.orgsync.com/SLC
  • Steps 1 & 2 must be completed before your organization can apply for allocation funding (along with the required allocation training).
  • Organizations that do not complete these steps before October 1, will not be eligible to utilize university resources offered to RSOs & your OrgSync portal will be deactivated for the Fall semester. There will be an opportunity at the beginning of the Spring for a recovery period.
  • Organizations that DO complete these steps will be recognized for the full academic year (Fall, Spring, & Summer) and will not be expected to update anything until the following year.

New RSOs:

  1. Complete the requirements to start an organization by October 1
    *Information can be found here: http://una.orgsync.com/start_organization
  • All new organizations that are approved prior to October 1 will be eligible to apply for allocation funding beginning for the Spring semester.


January 1 – February 15 (Recovery period)
 

RSOs that did NOT complete Fall requirements:

  1. Update OrgSync portal (Constitutions must be included)

    *The Office of Student Engagement will notify you when the submission has been completed.
  2. Schedule and meet with a Student Leadership Consultant.
    *Appointments can be made by calling 256-765-4248 or contacting a SLC here: http://una.orgsync.com/SLC
  • Steps 1 & 2 must be completed before your organization can apply for allocation funding (along with the required allocation training).
  • Organizations that do not complete these steps before February 15, will be assumed to be inactive and your OrgSync portal will be deleted. In order to activate the organization again, you will be expected to follow the requirements to start a new organization.

New RSOs:

  1. Complete the requirements to start an organization by February 15
    *Information can be found here: http://una.orgsync.com/start_organization
  • All requests submitted after October 1 will be approved at this time.
  • All new organizations that are approved prior to February 15 will be eligible to apply for allocation funding beginning for the Summer term.
