Leadership & Volunteerism
The Office of Student Engagement is divided into several areas, one of which is Leadership & Volunteerism. As a part of the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Student Engagement dedicates itself to developing effective student leaders/citizens through opportunities that engage them in campus activities and in the community- locally and globally.
The area of Leadership and Volunteerism is made up of the following initiatives:

Leadership Resource Room for recognized student organizations

Building relationships with community agencies and volunteering with them

Volunteer activities for student groups and individuals such as Lions Lend a Hand, Keep the Shoals Beautiful, Clean-ups, etc.

Fall and Spring Volunteer Fairs

Alternative Fall and Spring Break trips

Beginning a Service-Learning program with faculty, staff, school administration and community partners

Feeding the Pride Food Pantry
The Office of Student Engagement is located in the Guillot University Center (GUC) 107.
