Men who wish to join a fraternity at The University of North Alabama have two ways of seeking membership. Traditionally, groups recruit members during the spring and summer prior to their fall semester. The Interfraternity Council holds a formal recruitment during early September. During formal recruitment each prospective new member has a the opportunity to interact with individuals from fraternities and visit their house. Formal recruitment gives students who have not yet received a bid the opportunity to pursue one.
