View Mattielou Hall & Olive Hall!

Living on campus at UNA serves as an essential piece of the total university experience, and we hope that you make the decision to call the UNA residence halls your Home away from Home!

The Department of University Residences desires for you to be able to look back on your time in the residence halls with fond memories of success – great friends, amazing experiences, and stellar grades. We encourage you to take advantage of the unique opportunities and resources that are offered to you while living on campus. The Department of University Residences has an amazing, committed team of diverse staff members who share the common goal of guiding you towards achieving success and developing as a student, all while being an active member of the University of North Alabama community!

Something that we are proud of is that The University of North Alabama is in process of completing the construction of two new Residence Halls that will offer a state of the art living environment that focuses on helping our residents achieve success.  These halls will complement our upperclassmen suite-style living environment, offering different options for each level of your on-campus living experience. The Department of University Residences believes that part of a student’s academic and personal success is related to their living experience. National research has shown that students who live on campus for just one year have a 70% chance of graduation verse 54% for students who do not live on campus.   The University of North Alabama is committed to your academic success and persistence to graduation.  Because of this, UNA will require all freshmen to reside within the University Residence Halls for one year starting the Fall 2015 semester.  This on campus experience complements UNA’s mission by providing an interactive environment where living and learning interconnect.

Please take a look at our page to learn more about what we have to offer, and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. Roar Lions!
