Spring 2016 Assignments
You will receive your official assignment information including room number, roommate information, and opening day details via your UNA email prior to the end of fall semester (early December). Please reserve all requests for room, hall, and roommate changes for the official Room Change Request period which will begin two weeks into the Spring Semester. We will attempt to honor all requests at that time dependent on space and availability.
University Residences will begin accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic year on December 1, 2015 at 8:30am.
You will receive your official assignment information including room number, roommate information, and opening day details via your UNA email prior to the end of July 2016. Roommate matching will tentatively open on February 22, 2016. Roommate requests will not be accepted until that time.

What You Will Need to Apply
- Your UNA Portal credentials (username & password). This information was provided by Admissions upon being accepted to the University.
- Credit/Debit Card for payment of the $150 non-refundable application fee (For 16-17 Academic Year)
- Parent or guardian to authorize the application and contract if the student is under 19 years old
We will have more information available after the start of the Spring Semester on how to match up with a roommate. We do not open it right away as it often times shows no match until a good number of people get into the system.
Meal Plan Notice
Please note that if this your first time living in a UNA residence hall, then you must purchase a meal plan. When you sign the Residence Hall Contract, you are agreeing to a mandatory meal plan if you live in Rice, Rivers, LaGrange, Lafayette, Mattielou, Olive, Hawthorne, or Covington Hall. All Freshmen and Transfer students will be asked to select their meal plan during their application phase.
The requirement is for two regular semesters (Fall and Spring).
Please note that by submitting the application and contract you are agreeing to a BINDING LEGAL DOCUMENT. This contract can only be breached due to a severe change in financial status or via medical need that cannot be accommodated in the residence halls. Please be sure that you and your parent/guardian read and fully understand all portions of the application and contract before submitting it.
