All residence hall rooms have standard cable and wireless Internet access. Residence hall facilities also have computer labs, laundry rooms, and vending machines. Only the residents that live in each hall can access the building by using their Mane Card. All visitors must be let in by the resident and escorted throughout the building. Structured visitation hours are in place to provide specific times for non-residents to be present in the building. Each building is also equipped with security cameras at every external door, and the video footage is recorded. Appleby East and West, along with LaGrange beginning Fall 2012, are female-only halls. All other residence halls are coeducational buildings: Lafayette, Rice and Rivers by floor; Hawthorne and Covington by cluster. Residents in co-ed buildings must follow visitation hours as well. Cluster-style housing is based on a 12-month (August-July) contract for year-round access.
